GAGGIA CAFFE ACADEMIE

Coffee Know-How Sets Standards for Business Success

After six years of continuous growth in the coffee bar sector, coffee drinkers are more discerning and expect a higher quality of coffee than ever before.  Independent coffee shops and branded chains are realizing the need to invest in higher quality ingredients, staff training and expertise.  As long as market leader GAGGIA has been making coffee, it has been dedicated to education and training to ensure standards of coffee excellence are maintained. The GAGGIA Caffe Academie is the ultimate learning curve to attain the knowledge and expertise necessary to satisfy today’s needs across the supply chain…from the customer to the consumer.

The coffee lifestyle has permeated the consumer consciousness and an increasing number of small business entrepreneurs and aspiring baristas seek the opportunity to be part of, or purveyors of an authentic coffee experience.  To help realize these ambitions, GAGGIA – at the forefront of training in the art of making espresso for over 50 years – has introduced the GAGGIA Caffe Academie, the corner stone of an exceptional training programme maintaining high standards for restaurants, bars and coffee shops while representing a casting couch for aspiring baristas and as well as providing entrepreneurial minds with the skills to kick start a new business.

Taking the successful barista courses one step further, GAGGIA’s master baristas John Skinner and Simon Robertson, will teach an advanced training course combining theory, practical and presentation skills.  GAGGIA understands the skill and passion involved in the art of espresso.  Nothing tastes more delicious than the perfect cappuccino at the right temperature, with just the correct amount of froth, or the perfect espresso with the crema on the surface that captures that essential aroma and delivers the smoothest taste.

GAGGIA Caffe Academie course includes:

Basic skills training                    ½ day

In-house practical training           three weeks

Advanced skills diploma                       1 day

Final assessment                      1 day

The next GAGGIA Caffe Academie course starts on 17th April and costs £200.00.  Case studies of previous GAGGIA Caffe Academie students are attached.
