Caffitaly System on Commercial Machines

Gaggia, market leader in the world of espresso machines and innovative steam technology, adds another prestigious award to its collection.  Gaggia won the silver award in the Small Electrical Appliance category at The Industry Awards 2006 for its Baby Gaggia Caffita machine.

 Hosted by the Housewares Industry  at The Royal Lancaster on Friday 5^th May , the awards were presented by Sky News presenter  Lucy Alexander and  attracted many of the UK’s key industry players.  Products in each category were judged based on a set of criteria including excellence of design, performance, appeal and commerciality. The judges from Bentalls Kitchen Caterers and Yes Chef were impressed with the Caffita’s inventive concept of capsules and its ability to provide a perfect espresso.

The classic Baby Gaggia has been updated to give you the best of both worlds as it can be used with capsules and also converted to use granules. The capsule system is perfect for those who want the intense taste of an espresso but don’t have the time to perform the ritual of grinding the coffee.
